Assuming you're new, usually if it says there's a duplicated asset it means you have to go into APE (Asset Property Editor) by clicking the monkey icon in your mod tools launcher window, search for the asset mentioned in the linker (ideally by putting the stated gdt file name in the gdt file search bar to make it easier) and delete ONE of the copies, doesn't rlly matter. The reason this happens is that your map files have placeholders that always have to refer to established information from an external source - APE- for what asset to load where. Similarly, Gdts don't actually store the assets but rather large amounts of asset info and settings that you can only read and manipulate using APE. Therefore if you have two assets with the same name it gets confused and doesn't know which information to use when compiling and linking, which happens when you have multiple gdt files with assets that share names. Hopefully this makes sense and it works. If not you can go into radiant\autosave_backup and copy paste the backup map file there into your map_source\zm folder, changing the name to the map file you want to replace.
If neither approach works and you still get the error "can't read fast file" you may have to take more drastic measures and uninstall then reinstall the mod tools. First, take everything important out of your map folder (i.e. your zone, scripts (namely gsc and csc), your sound files like your map folder's szc and aliases (share\raw\sound\aliases\*customaliasnames*) and gamedata if appliciable) as well as your map file (located in map_source\zm\zm_mapname.map) or any other important files you may also want like your d3dbsp (share\raw\maps\zm\zm_mapname.d3dbsp) which will allow you to relink your map faster after bringing your things back in. Also if appicable make backups for any zip files you downloaded with custom stuff - you never know if a website will go down and you lose the OG source - although if you lack space then you can just make links to each of the pages where they can be found. You especially want to make backups of physical assets you've custom ported (i.e. custom textures and sound files), custom gdts and edited gdts from other sources as you can't redownload those back from the internet.
Ideally you want to ensure everything you might have placed or edited into your map has a backup that you can simply place back into your game directory with the same changes you made. Outside of directly changed textures and models you dont have to make copies of the actual asset components, just the gdts for them that you created or edited, as when you drag in the zip file stuff the gdts not changed will be the same anyway, which is what counts. Gdts are found primarily in the "source_data" folder of your directory but can be anywhere like in the model_export folder (this is the case for the Kingslayer Gun Pack). Alongside this after reinstalling the mod tools create a new map with the same name as the backed up one, compile, light, link and run it. THEN replace every important file (map file, scripts, gamedata, sound, zone, etc.) that was just created with the original ones you backed up. The reason you want to do this first is BC theres files that still have to be created (namely in share\raw\maps\zm but also in your map folder's various zone and sound files) which store all important data in your map thats loaded through your zone like your d3dbsp. However as you're adding in new things in your folders do them one at a time (but beforehand comment out script calls for unimported functions and assets too in your gsc csc zone etc.) so that when you link and get an error for the map you know exactly what addition it's from and can hone in on the problem. I hope all this helps you get your map working again.
